... and on. Oil, acrylic? Stretched canvas, canvas board? How large is it?

33. It's an 8"x10" oil on canvas board...

using a limited palette of ivory black, titanium white, yellow ocher and cadmium red. There are so many ideas running through my head of other "Calvin" paintings I'd like to do. :-)

40. How Long Did It Take...

... to finish it? Did you complete it in one sitting? Or was it something you worked on a little at a time?

41. I'd say about 6+ plus hours in a few sittings...

I only have so much time after work because the lighting in my apartment isn't so great. I started it on Sunday and polished it off last evening. There's a few more adjustments I'd to make, like the highlights in his eyes.

He also gave me a few pointers with regard to egdes and making the background more out-of-focus to draw the eye to the cat. So I'll post more stuff as I go.
