I finally asked my husband up front if he thinks I should stay with him. He said, kindly, "No." It's the right answer for both of us, but it still shocked me. I've never been able to ask him so directly. Guess his buying his own house should have been a clue, huh?

I am officially, kinda pathetically unloved. I tell you, I NEVER believed I would find myself in this position. Life is a ride. Wow.

:hug: I have been through the same thing in my life. Its always shocking, even when you know deep down what the answer is. It hurts, and you are justified in shedding some tears and feeling some fear over the conclusion of your marriage. I honestly believe that most people truly love the ones they marry at the time, but time can be a cruel thing when it becomes clear that its not going to work. BUT and this is a very cliche thing to say (I mean it)you will find YOURSELF within this change. And you will find what you need/want to be on that road. It does get better. It truly does. Grieving will be a part of it, but on the other side is a new hope and a renewal in who you are. Keep your chin up. And go through whatever it is you need to go through...we will be here to listen.
