I went back to school in my late 40's to get
my teaching credential.

Yeah, I was definitely the oldest one there.
But I learned a lot and taught the know-it-all
smart alacks in class a thing or two. ;-)

As you can see, I didn't bite my tongue.

Five poems and three short stories? Hmmmmm...I'd have fun with the short stories but wouldn't take me all semester; the poems though -- a poet, I ain't.

Sounds like fun, though. I'm jealous. I'm thinking about going back to school so that I can actually do something but the idea is intimidating.
