Now I know, I know. Country music? Some of the older stuff though has really great musicianship on it. And not too much in the way of politics.
Anyways, the song's chorus went something like this:
"I asked what did she want from me, she said i want a bigger family"
The song was all about having too big a family or something like that. Heard it in a bar in Japan called Cotton Fields. :)
Also, an interesting anecdote about country music. Recently at a bar in Osan, South Korea (where they have a big air base) an employee of the military came in, and after about 10 minutes or so walks over to the computer where the songs are queued up. He plugs in a couple of country songs (fair enough, everybody should get a shot right?). The second song that came up, had a hip-hop beat, almost no guitar, and certainly no fiddle. It made me curious. Especially since the songs that he didn't like before were for the most part, hip-hop. Just speculatin....
Anyways, if someone could help me out with that song request, I'd be super super happy.
