Donating blood is really not that big of a deal. I resisted for a long time just due to laziness. Stop over-dramatizing it.

3. It seems to be harder on some people than others
I have a really easy time of it (though I'm small and female and my iron's usually barely high enough to donate) but I do know people who are really tired for the remainder of the day.
