As anyone seen these really short skirts in the stores.
Why bother to wear anything, and don't sit down.

Clean underwear is a must.

1. this reminds me of something a gynecologist said to me once.
he said that the best thing for a woman's 'health' down there is to wear mini-skirts with no underwear. And I was on the table when he said it, too. I didn't go back to him, needless to say.

Apparently he has his own line of mini-skirts now, lol.

2. Yes
I was shopping for skirts a couple weeks ago, and my four year old kept saying "mommy, I can see your tushie."

Thanks kid, the entire dressing room needed to know that. :D

4. They are meant to be worn over leggings.....
Only by the very young--one hopes. Tunics (or short dresses) over leggings are being pushed for the slightly older fashionista. This sort of layered dressing will be useful for those who need to stay warm (not here in Houston) or those who are overly thin (not I).

I wore the occasional mini in my day--but we wore pantyhose, too. And the leggings bring back thoughts of leg warmers & layered, slouchy t-shirts. (With bra straps peeping through?)

Those who do not remember the fashion mistakes of the past are doomed to repeat them....

8. I really like this look alot
what is the cut off for this? because I fully intend to wear this this winter. At what age does a woman have to stop wearing mini-skirts? I prefer shorts in the summer but I really like short skirts with opaque tights in cooler weather. I'm at the age where I have to think about this stupid shit, and it sucks. I don't feel any different on the inside, and my legs are toned from doing squats and lunges over the years, but still...

17. There's no real "cut off" age....
The little distressed denim numbers remind me of Daisy Mae. Perhaps, if you are old enough to remember Li'l Abner, you're too old for that particular look.

But I, myself, prefer opaque tights in cool weather. (Here in Houston, most women have abandoned ANY hose, tights, etc., for most of the year.) My current favorite skirt length is just at the knee. Longer is dowdy, unless I'm going for the Bohemian look--which I do, at times. Sometimes I go a bit shorter.

Let your mirror be the guide! They say that "the legs are the last to go."

I have a horrible time finding good length skirts, right now. I like them short, but not THAT short.

I knew it was only a matter of time.

What cracks me up is how cool these kids think they are. Maybe they don't realize this look was popular about 25 years or so ago.
