19. I was too
;)

We got one with shorter hair, and after about a month I was ok with just some daily benadryl.

15. I took me a while to figure out
that she liked being UNDER her bed rather than IN it. When she first started scratching and fooling around with it I couldn't figure out what the hell she was trying to do. Until I realized she wanted the bed to be on her, rather than her be on the bed.

Edited on Mon Aug-21-06 01:29 PM by stellanoir
be the next "snakes on a plane."

Either you or progspawn are having far too much fun really. Not so sure about progcat though.

on edit-I won't sick PETA on your house though. :)

21. But is perhaps brutal with progspawn's beloved action figures.
Edited on Mon Aug-21-06 04:22 PM by stellanoir
Okay so I still won't rat you guys out to PETA though it's only because I feel quite strongly that in the end action figures can fully defend themselves.

Being constituted of hardened plastic can apparently be of reasonable advantage in life. I, as a "burbling mass of protoplasm" am hardly speaking from experience, though "a girl's gotta have goals."

on edit- Kiss your boy and progkitty and progspawn's assorted action figures for me. Okay? Well maybe not the action figures.

I used to joke for several years that I was only working for action figures, though it was sort of true. And I thought before I had a kid, "my kid will only play with organic toys." I was fully intending to say "here kid. . .go play with this potato." My how motherhood changes everything.

25. Hello? Is anybody home? Well, you don't know me,
but I know you.
And I've got a message to give to you.
Here come the planes. The planes with snakes.
So you better get ready. Ready to go. You can come
as you are, but pay as you go. Pay as you go.

Along with Mister Heartbreak.

Sharky's Night, where Burroughs speaks:

You know, I can see two tiny pictures of myself
And there's one in each of your eyes. And they're doin' everything I do.
Every time I light a cigarette, they light up theirs.
I take a drink and I look in and they're drinkin' too.
It's drivin' me crazy. It's drivin' me nuts.
