1. So they're ok with kale?

I know it's not good as a regualr food for the Ig, b/c of the high levels of Oxalates (or whatever they're called) in them. He mainly eats Collard, Mustard, and Dandelion greens...As well as Butternut squash and green beans, and yummy lil fresh strawberry treats from my Mom...and his calcium, of course :)

2. It's okay for them once in awhile.

They mostly get collards and dandelion greens. Along with vitamin-dusted, gut-loaded crickets & superworms a couple times a week. They also have a bowl of dry dragon food always. They also get peas, assorted fruits & chopped up carrots & tomatoes.

6. They're not so little.

Raoul Duke is small for her age (she was the runt of the hatchlings) and she's about 15". Dr. Gonzo is around 16" with a partial tail.

It's also rare in the fact that he's being nice and not trying to draw my blood.

11. I don't necessarily consider him big, just not small.

Eventually, I really want to have an iguana or a savannah monitor (both get to be about 5'). However, I feel they need to be mostly free roaming to be happy & healthy. I can't do that right now, as I moved back into my parents house. Unfortunately, I have to live by their rules in the meantime, which also prevents me from buying another python or setting up a poison dart frog vivarium.

Yeah, I'm REALLY into reptiles...have been since I was a little kid. My mom only likes my leopard geckos (the cute little official lounge lizards). She also likes turtles though, and she's talking about having me set up a turtle pen for her in the yard.

9. I got them by chance.

I'm friends with their breeder. I got Dr. Gonzo for free because he had his leg bit off by a sibling (I have no idea how because he was and is very big & aggressive). It's hard to sell a three-legged lizard. Since it's his front leg, he can't climb and as such, is somewhat special needs. A couple weeks later, I got his sister for free, because the breeder was going to Germany for a couple weeks and she still hadn't sold.

19. Yesterday the Red Sox fans were all like...

"We're not losers. The Yankees haven't won the World Series this millenium because 2000 wasn't really the new millenium yet. Nah nah! :P"

Of course, previous to their fluke little World Series win in 2004, they hadn't won one in 86 years. My how quickly they forget.

I'm starting to get excited about football season, too. Hockey and basketball can suck it though.

16. Yeah, especially since Dr. Gonzo attacks EVERYTHING!

If I light up a match or light in my room, he'll start lunging at the glass. His cage is at the foot of my bed and he'll try to attack my foot through the glass. Hell, earlier tonight we was outside running around my room and he viciously attacked a pair of boxer shorts on my bedroom floor. He just goes through life randomly assaulting things for no reason. He's been good lately though; I don't think he's drawn blood in about two weeks.

Raoul Duke is pretty calm though (which is far more common for this type of lizard). And the leopard geckos are the friendliest, calmest lizards ever.
