Rain. Unusual. Leaky Roof.

I had to cut a small section out of the ceiling over the bathtub (thankfully it was over the bathtub).

Just had a monster storm, and the house sprung a leak.

Worst possible time for this to happen.

Best possible place for it to have happened.

Bathtub.

Ok. I'm done. Stick a fork in me, as they say.

leak unless it was raining? that is best time to find leaks, right?

I just cut a small hole, let the water drip out and hope it dries out for a while until I can get around to fixing it.

6. If that much water is leaking through the roof, you should put

a now world-famous post-hurricane blue tarp on the roof,
of course anchored appropriately with old tires, etc.

my dad fixed his roof, and when it rained, it leaked again, but it's over an enclosed porch.

I guess I'll have to get up there asap to fix it, since the chances of rain for the next few days are high.

I have to go to work. I hate my job. I have to go to work.

Then, I get to come home, hope it's not raining, and figure out how to fix the damn roof.

I really, really didn't need this right now, but that's the way it always happens, right?
