am i being premature
in starting to see and feel the beginings of the precursors of the very start of the change in seasons?

it's still hot here in texas, but it is late august, the weather will begin trending somewhat cooler and drier within at least a month or a month and a half or so. it won't be consistently comfortable until early november and that will still be punctuated with many warm days.

but climatalogically speaking, the moon is doing its thing, the days are getting shorter, and saturday morning it was actually very pleasant. the air was dry. until the sun came up.

1. Nope!
The signs are all here too.
I can feel it in the air in the morning now.
It even 'smells' like autumn here....

2. Nope.
It's coming. The birds' nests are empty, the nights are getting cooler and we've been getting rain on a regular basis...pretty soon the bears are gonna be trying to get into the garbage again.

It's on its way.

4. Nope
It's beginning around here too. Many of the flowers are done blooming and the tomatoes are dying off. Fall is my favorite time of year. I just wish it didn't lead into winter. :eyes:

My patio garden is on the north side of my apartment
and it is now in the shade.

On my way to work I pass the Pride of Arizona practicing.

7. I've been feeling it for a week now.
I can almost smell it in the air. I awoke to an incredibly soothing chill morning midweek last. You are right. The idea that I understood every single word you typed the first read through is possibly kind of weird, though.

13. The nights are getting cool here in Wisconsin.
This weekend was the end for the swimming pools and beaches in my city. Pretty soon I'll smell that autumn "smell".
