CONFESS!!! Who saw "Snakes on a Plane" this weekend **spoilers**
It was actually better than I expected. Solid plotline, gratious sex & death. These weren't your standard "bite em on the leg and let em die" type of snakes - they were pretty creative with how they killed. Romantic sparks between the leading man & woman, cute kids in peril, naked sex scene in the bathroom and revenge of the dog killer.

It was a damn good movie -I'll probably go see it again

2. I thought that was pretty good for opening weekend
I thought they were nuts to predict 30mil, I figured if it got 15-18, that was a good weekend. Too many people refused to see it because they thought it was going to be a really bad movie. But it turned out to be actually quite good for the type of movie it was.

I'm probably going to see it again this week with another friend

3. It was
pretty good . . better than I think anyone expected.

I thought like you said some of the snake attacks was created. . . and I think the movie was fun. Predicitable (When it pertained to whow ould live and die) yes. . . but it didn't need to be surprsiing or twist and turn. It was straight foward and you already knew what you were going to get. With some films this would upset me . . but not with this film. All I wanted was a plane and lots of snakes and it delivered ;)

Not to mention plenty of laughs (I must admit . . I laughed when they guy in the bathroom got the snake bite no man should get)

Good way to spend a birthday.

7. SAW it this afternoon, with my daughter. We enjoyed it.
I hated that the doggie and kitty were off'd. but the payoff on the dog was great re: Mr Obnoxious Passenger.

Fun movie!!!

8. and at least you didn't see the cat get it
I think the only thing that disappointed me was the nudity. I mean, it was funny as hell with what happened to that couple, but I'm thinking now I can't take my 10-year-old niece because that was a bit too vulger. I think what hurt the movie was the fact they opted to go with the R-rating

10. That was a classic!!
I was laughing throughout that movie, unless I was screaming from a snake attack. I mean, you knew when the snakes were getting ready to attack but the way those snakes actually did attack was hilarious as hell.

11. Best movie I saw all year.
I thought the snake expert was great, Mr. Intensity.

Things I learned:

snakes come in teal,
don't shoot on an airplane,
snakes explode in the microwave,
TSA does not scan airline cargo,
they don't search passangers for grass either,
sexual harassment is funny if you are dying,
747 rest rooms are huge,
a stun gun is like a mute button for snakes,
airline oxygen masks suck,
witness a crime and you can have 1st class to yourself,
sucking out venom actually works,
cellular service works over the Pacific Ocean.

A little twist in the plot: Troy tells the ground that he has experience with single-engine jets. I expected it to be like Flight into Danger where the guy can fly a military fighter, but not a giant airliner. The film Airplane was based on that play. Turns out, his "experience" is from a video game.
