I used to get lambasted for posting pity threads.

Yesterday I post a thread that dares ask if poeple can change and people either warp it into a pity post (which it isn't) or other people talk about doom and gloom.

(my own responses in that thread more than vindicate me.)

Who's doing the pitying now? 'tis not I.

I'm a pity poster in that one, I think. If you were lambasted, that seems just wrong.

But the only way to make change is to actually do it.

it was just weird that I responded in that thread with a pity post, and actually used the word before coming back to the Lounge and reading this thread first thing! Weird.
