1. Yeah, I saw it
yesterday, not my choice. Purely hokey, and predictable. Sorry, did not enjoy it.

2. I liked it
I love dark humor. The ending was a bit too cheesy - it should have been darker, as well. Overall a pretty decent critique on the obsession Americans have with winning.

3. I enjoyed it.
A few good laughs, a good message, good acting. It wasn't Oscar worthy, but IMO, well worth seeking out a theater showing it.

4. Loved it.
Twisted, but sentimental at the same time. My kind of movie!

5. Best movie I've seen all year.
I can't remember the last time I left a movie theatre feeling so satisfied and happy!

Love the dark humor, love the crazy story, and the casting was perfect.

And they were giving out free 'Little Miss Sunshine' t-shirts after it ended, so that was cool too. :P

Also, it's nice to see an independent movie doing so well at the box office.

We laughed the entire time.

12. My 16YO Daughter Dragged Me and Two of Her Friends to See It
She has good taste. I thought it was absolutely great.

Despite certain things which were predictable, I loved the way the script worked in the theme of being a loser or a winner, and how that took on different meanings in different circumstances. Bringing in the life of Proust was a stroke of genius. And I don't think I've ever laughed longer and louder in a theater as during the performance at the beauty pageant. It was wonderful and horrifying.

In a twisted way, it was very much a family movie and a feelgood flick. And it had some memorable lines:

"By the way, do you know of any funeral homes around here?"
"Life is one fuckin' beauty contest after another."
"Aw that's sweet, honey. Where's your grandpa?" "In the trunk of our car."

13. Laugh-out-loud hilarious. If you like dark humor.
Which I do.

There's a great scene where the dad gets caught with porno mags. Greg Kinnear was pure genius in that scene! Very funny!!!
