Five seconds of this kicks just about every other bands' asses, esp. the newbie poser-bands who think they're rocking, like Linkin Park, Garbage, Tool, System of a Down, Disturbed, Avenged Sevenfold, Hatebreed, Lacuna Coil, DragonForce, Black Label Society, Atreyu, Unearth, Bleeding Through, Norma Jean, A Life Once Lost, The Red Chord, Walls of Jericho, Strapping Young Lad, All That Remains, Full Blown Chaos, Between the Buried and Me, and Bad Acid Trip, STAIND, and the rest of 'em, well into the next galaxy.

This is a REAL band, a real ASSKICKING band, that kicks more ass than almost any fucking poser metal band ever could. It's a live video of Yes performing, um, a song that I now forget the title of.

17. Get ...
... The Yes Album (1970), their first really good release.

Then get Going for the One (1976) another great one.

There really aren't many more that are very good, IMHO.

5. this is scary.
BCR Bye Bye Baby. It's supposed to be live but it looks like he's lip sync-ing, and all the other ones I've looked at do too. What were they, the plaid Milli Vanilli or something?

7. BCR IS IN A CLASS BY ITSELF!
Hell, even Yes never got a Saturday morning variety/cartoon show, and you WEREN'T A MUSICIAN in the 70s until they asked you to do a Saturday morning kid's show.

9. Right now I'm looking at an enamal roasting pan that kicks Oasis' ass.
Edited on Sun Aug-20-06 01:42 PM by Rabrrrrrr
and I say that only because it's the closest thing in my vision. The cutting board, the jar of old bay seasoning, the photocopies of an article from Christian Century, the plastic bag that some shrimp came in, an empty Cool Whip container, and the end piece of a loaf od three-day-old bread all kick Oasis' ass.

Hell, the dirty towel just off to my right kicks Oasis' ass. And smells better than their music.

I only included them because it's important to remind the Oasis people that their band is not only laughable, it's not even worth the enerdy to laugh at.

14. Definitely Maybe - Certified as the Best Album Ever
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/3759955.stm

Oasis top Beatles in album list

Oasis' first album is a favourite of fans and critics
Oasis have beaten their heroes The Beatles to win a poll of the best British albums of all time.

UK rockers' 1994 set, Definitely Maybe, topped the Beatles' Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and Revolver.

I don't see that pussy-ass Yes on the list.

20. Well I love Yes..
... and they were indeed great. But if you were looking for Kick Ass, you'd go to the band Yes's drummer (the incomparable Bill Bruford) left them to join.

That would be King Crimson :)
