The Jehovah's Witnesses just came round

they asked me a few questions about what I thought the future holds, and also asked me some questions about my own faith which I was very happy to answer. We talked for five minutes and it was very pleasant, and then they went away.

I tell them that I believe, so and so and then they ask me to take a magazine and they leave. They caught me in the garden the last time they showed up! They weren't pushy at all. :hug: :loveya:

They tried to encourage me a little bit to see things their way, but that's okay. It's their mission - it was the whole point of their being on my doorstep. I am quite convinced by our own philosophy, and I told them so, very politely. They didn't press it very hard and we parted amicably.

Just thought I'd share it with the lounge; not every encounter with the God Squad has to be unpleasant.

I guess really I'm part of the God Squad myself - I just play for a rival team. :evilgrin:

I've had them walk in the house without knocking or invitation. And getting rid of them is practically impossible.
