3. Stores always rush the seasons
The fall/winter stuff comes out in mid to late summer. Then the spring/summer stuff comes out around Jan/Feb. Christmas stuff begins hitting the shelves by late September/early October, Valentines day stuff right after New Years, and "Back to School" a mere 2-3 weeks after school lets out for the summer.

And just try to get a swimsuit in late July....:banghead:

4. one nice thing about living in Texas...we don't get quite as much
wool and heavy winter stuff in our stores. The buyers know we don't need it. I hate walking into a store when it is 100 degrees outside and the place reeks of wool. I break out in a sweat just thinking about it.

I get great bargains at end of season too. I have actually bought shorts in October for next to nothing. I could never do that in Kentucky or Indiana.

What we do get are lots of items on both ends of the spectrum which can be worn 9 months out of the year. Since we only really have two seasons, hot and moderate with maybe 2 weeks of cool/cold weather.

8. Yes, God forbid that somebody might need a swimsuit in August.
I once found it near impossible to find a warm jacket in March when it was still snowing here up north.

13. This mommy has school to get ready for and I don't want to go out
last minute shopping in c-c-cold Michigan weather so bring it on! It makes me sad even though it is convenient for me.
