1. Have you played Sim City 4?
I've been occasionally playing that for a few years.

4. I couldn't figure out how to play an older version of sims...
How does it compare to Pharoah, etc?

7. I've never played any other city-building games
so I can't compare it, but it is very popular. You are the mayor, and you transform your vancant plot of land into a massive metropolis. You have to zone everything, keep your people educated, keep the city safe, and, hopefully, make money through taxes. My best city had about 130,000 people, but I know you can get a lot more than that. It is very interesting watching your city evolve. You can zoom into the city and watch the citizens participate in their daily activities. There is also an option to place people in the city who will report back to you on their life. "God Mode" lets you modify your city, and if you wish, destroy it.
