I tried to sign into the blackboard account for the online class I am taking through one of the local community colleges. I've done so for the past several days with no problems but today I get this message:
Browser Cookies Disabled Browser Cookies Disabled This installation of Blackboard Academic SuiteTM requires the acceptance of a cookie by your browser software. The cookie is used to ensure that you and only you are able to access information in the courses, assessments, gradebooks and other features which are appropriate for you.
This cookie is NOT stored permanently on your computer, and will be removed when you close your browser. It does not contain any information that could identify you to any third party system or any other Blackboard installation.
The system has been unable to place the cookie. This may be because cookies are disabled in your browser.
To enable cookies in your browser:
1. Select Options from your browser's Tools Menu. 2. Select Privacy from the list in the left-hand pane of the dialog box. 3. In the right-side area under Cookies, select 'Allow sites to set cookies' 4. Click 'Ok' to close the dialog box. 5. Click 'Ok' on this page to return to Blackboard Academic SuiteTM.
Now the problem is that 1. I have cookies enabled 2. I checked and I have the cookie for the site. I don't believe I changed any settings lately. Should I just assume the site has issues and come back later or should I try something else to fix the problem?
Thanks!
