3. Thank you, gf.

Ya know, I was thinking about making her again, only much, much bigger: say, 3 ft x 3 ft, on wood. I just hold back a little because that might be too overwhelmingly huge. (On the other hand, I still have about 400 pages of the Latin text left. The antique book was a gift from my sweet, collage-lovin' Call Me Wesley. :) )

7. I may try that larger version, DA.
The main thing holding me back is the thought: "That much thin, 130-year-old paper, plus that much binder = BIG MESS."

Thank you for your kind words and encouragement, my friend.

6. My dear Heidi!
You just always astonish me..........

Yes, I think you should make another, bigger one!

You might think you are just reproducing it.......but you wouldn't be...

You would still be transforming the picture as you paint it!

But you probably already know that, don't you?

This is a wonderful work, sweetie.....thank you for posting it!

I'm sure the new owners are appreciating and enjoying it too.......

 :loveya:

8. If I did it again, I'd do it a bit differently,
and you're right, it wouldn't be a rue treproduction. (How did you know that I'm loathe to directly reproduce my work? I don't even do prints.) I love this painting so much that I've thought of trying to buy it back from the owner. That's stupid, I know, but she's one of only a handful that I've really, really _missed_. :(

13. You are quite welcome, gf!
My favorite piece of yours is still the one you did that was inspired by the DU women. Awesome piece, but this one runs a close second!

 Thank you for your kindness, aquaman.

Aquaspawn is a sweet angel. He really has grown a lot in the past two or three months, hasn't he?

I wish all of me had as much talent as a fingernail clipping of yours...

hmmm...cloning ...

Got any spare fingernail clippings around? Hell, even a lock of hair? :D

Two Heidis is more than the world could reasonably bear, I'm afraid. More importantly, everyone's an artist and you're a wonderful woman just as you are. Thank you for your kind words, gf. :loveya:
