I misdiagnosed the problem.
It wasn't AVG after all.
My MSN Connection Center had been set at highest speed.
I reset it to the lowest speed and now all is fine.

I'm too late to throw anything at ya, with only half an hour left of the show, and I don't really have time to listen anyway--I'm unpacking from vacation--but I wanted t' say hello! Hopefully once school starts again my life will be more structured, and I'll be able to pencil in Saturday early afternoons for the jazz crowd here at DU.

I'm so upset to not have listened AT ALL for the past, like, six weeks. It sucks, especially since jazz is hard to find on the dial up here anyway. They need to have an all-jazz, all-the-time station.
