My desert pics are all pre-digital. One day I may get to return to the Southwest and take some nice digital pics.

the desert never seemed that, appealing to me, but the pictures I see, are pretty damn good...

5. I love the Southwest
The red-rock buttes, the cacti, the canyons an arroyos are breathtaking. I've been to AZ and NV (Las Vegas and surrounding area) and am anxious to return.

Not my cup of tea though, give me ice, snow, ice, and cold, and ice...:) I'm a man of the north...:) My mother in law has a thing for the SW also, she collects pictures of the desert and what not, and puts them in frames and hangs them on the wall.

My wife and I have a good handful of friends from the SW, but neither one of us have been out there...most in NM, or AZ...
