Hell, I once built this with a theatre technology class during a work/study type thing as Carnegie Mellon and Kinex was so happy, then sent $500 worth of Kinex to CMU.



Yes, that is a 33' self-supporting suspension bridge built from Kinex. We were learning about trusses and that's how we had to put our knowledge to use.

Fuck, I've also built a bedroom set out of cardboard boxes for a HS class called "Science Inquiry & Technology" which was essentially a shop class for smart kids. I'm glad I didn't use FedEx boxes.
