Neutral Milk Hotel...OMG
Edited on Fri Aug-18-06 06:57 PM by AlienGirl
I just started crying listening to one of their songs. What an amazing band.

"But now we must pick up every piece
Of the life we used to love
Just to keep ourselves
At least enough to carry on."

1. What happens when the arms are too weakened to carry ourselves?

3. One of my favorite bands
"In the Aeroplane Over the Sea" is so unique yet beautiful, with really innovative production using odd instrumentation.

If you like their stuff you should check out some of the other Elephant 6 bands...

4. One of the greatest albums ever.
I rank "Aeroplane" right up there with "Blood on the Tracks," "Forever Changes," "Revolver," "Pet Sounds," "Zen Arcade," "Loveless," "OK Computer," all the top-shelf shit.

And I was completely dismissive of it for years. I was a damn fool.

5. Holland 1945 blew me away the first time I heard it
It's right up there with the most impressive albums of the last ten years IMO.
