2. Thanks! Here's our other little one.
Chessie. She's not that fond of Kylie, yet. Kylie is pretty spunky.

5. Chessie's sweet!
It'll take her time to get used to a puppy with all that energy. The same thing happened to our dog Casey when we got Vicki. Vicki was an 8-week-old bundle of energy, and Casey was a three-year-old dog. It worked out, though, and they're best buddies. :D

17. Isn't she? And, a sweeter little creature never existed.
There was a little dachshund at the breeder's yesterday and she had such a sad face, but my little one was worried about Chessie feeling displaced, so she didn't want to get another dachshund. Fortunately, someone came in as we were leaving and picked her.

She looks to have a Shih Tsu snout, coat and ears. What's yorkie about her? Size?

9. I don't know. I guess.
She'll only get to about 10 pounds or so.

She really is adorable. Except when she is crying in the crate. I can't take it. I have to get her out and hold her.

10. She looks really adorable
I can smell the puppy breath from here. And you know about sticking a ticking clock in the crate under some blankies or a pillow, right? It mimics mommy's heartbeat and can comfort a puppy.

11. Yup. I put one in the crate under her blanket last night.
She did better. She's getting used to us. It's so funny when she plays because then all of a sudden, she just collapses on the rug and falls asleep.

12. Yeah the movement to a new home is a bit of cause for anxiety
so comforting her now will reap big rewards in temperament in the long run. And yeah, they don't know when they over do it, do they?
