Stupid fucking drug war bullshit

I went to the fucking grocery store, because the drug store is closed already. The pharmacy section was closed but all I needed was some otc allergy stuff. So I'm looking and apparently the only animal-product free stuff is the generic benadryl or sudafed pills. Well, they have the damn things locked up, there's nobody there who can get them, and all the pharmacies around are closed (I drove by and checked.)

Are there any fewer tweakers around? No! They just get cheaper pills from Mexico or make thier crank another way. Meanwhile the people who suffer are the honest ones who just need medicine. I don't want to hear some drug war BS about why I can't get any medicine until morning, I can't breathe through my fucking nose NOW damn it.

My kids smuggle ibuprofen to school because the aren't allowed to have pills. Getting the ibuprofen on time is the difference between getting a migraine or killing it off before it really starts.

i had surgery once and they sent me home without pain meds, had to wait until the morning to get my script filled, and I wanted to die after the anesthesia wore off

9. apparently so...

they held me from 6 am until 2 pm for surgery, there was a delay, I was fasting, I had surgery for quite a few hours...got back to a room about 6 pm, sick as a dog, made me stay until I passed my urine, which I could not and lied that I did to go home. Now 9pm, sent home, with no meds to hold me over until am. I was wiser the next time, and made sure i was stocked up.

somebody posted that statement in the thread about the "gel bra's" about the lady w. breast cancer who can't travel now because of the prosthesis and the risk of having it taken away by some officious bastard at the airport

if you have any illness, any tiny disablity, it just seems like they don't care and don't want you to have any chance of a good life
