It's not always all about Bertha's cats. ;)

Usually. Just not always.

It's okay. You didn't know.

Just don't let it happen again.

BTW, GO DODGERS :bleeding Dodger blue these days:

edit: Duh. The cats. I love them both. I'll bet that white fur is the softest fur on earth. :)

I've been avoiding your kitten threads because I WANT one! ;) I also have a co-worker whose cat just had kittens and I want one of hers too. But I can't, and it's killing me...so I'm trying not to look at kitten pics. Particularly adorable ones like yours!

Riley's fur is, indeed, extremely soft. I think Spencer may have him beat though.

What's this about the Dodgers?? I thought you were an Angel fan!

it out this season (don't tell anyone I told you that). Of course, I still love them, root for them, would DIE for th.... okay, that's a bit much.

Plus, my beloved BIL is THE Dodgers' Fan, and where he roots, I root.

I saw a game in 1977 . . . Dodgers vs Yankees . . . World Series . . . :P

Husker, I don't know exactly where you live, but you are within 150 miles of three fabulous parks. I've never been to a Padres game, and Angels Stadium does serve Pepsi :puke: and probably the most expensive concessions in the majors, but still:

11. I know, I know
I was even in San Diego this weekend and literally drove past 2 games in progress on the way home! Both Angels Stadium and Dodgers Stadium were lit up like Christmas trees.

However, Anaheim and San Diego are a bit too far away to just pop over for a night game (especially during the week) and Dodgers Stadium, frankly, is a pain in the ass. It took nearly 2 hours to get out of the parking lot!

41. Huskerlaw and Bertha,
You are two of my favorite ladies.

Plus, you have some of the best kitty photos around.

Kitties, Dodgers, Angels, being progressive Dems,
we've got a lot in common, ladies!

I'm an Angel fan, but this is not their season, no way.
I'm not jumping ship here, but I'm thrilled that the Dodgers
are doing so well. It's been a dry spell for them, until now.

Oh, I almost forgot.

Nemo and Darwin- brothers ( twins when they've just had a bath)
I know, the lighting is terrible, but it's a rare time when they are
not fighting for best position on the "tree".

47. Well, thank you!
You know, Dodgers...Angels...it's all the same city, right? (ok, only if you use the ridiculously long official Angels title, but you know what I'm sayin')

Besides, the progressive female thing totally outweighs minor baseball differences. ;)

I gotta say...Nemo and Darwin are gorgeous (or if they prefer...handsome).

Keep in mind that the Halos & Dodgers have a very big connection: Mike Scioscia! He was their catcher for their '81 and '88 World Series Wins. He also caught Orel Hershiser as Orel was breaking Don Drysdale's scoreless innings records. :loveya: Mike.

16. My cat got shaved
He's generally a very, very fluffy cat but got very matted and had to be shaved. For some reason the groomer put a jaunty little scarf around his neck. She said it was to make him feel better... Tell me, does he look like he feels better to you??

Here is a picture of him staring with PURE EVIL HATRED right at your soul.

Here he is showing off his still-floofy tail--you can use that to gauge how furry he used to be (very).

Mine are too good for most toys, but they are all in love with that. They take turns sleeping on it, scratching it, chasing the little ball around and around. It's very cute. A winner in my house. :)

I bought that toy years ago for my furry boys. One of them loves to rip the cardboard thing apart. I used to be able to buy replacement inserts at Petco but they stopped carrying them about a year ago. Any idea on where I can replacement inserts? Oliver and Sebastian would be very grateful to find out. So would I.

55. Actually,
neither of them are using the blanket at the moment. I got a new bedspread, and the blankie clashes! Oddly, neither of them seem to care, but if I get the blankie out for playtime, they fight over it. :eyes:

62. Yes, they are siblings
That is my favorite picture of them. They love the warm clothes baskets in the winter. I don't mind a little cat hair on the clean clothes. It's worth it to see them so content.

65. Riley used to
climb under the covers of my bed in the winter...that stopped with the move to SoCal. I kinda miss it, actually, and I think he does too. Neither of them seeks out sunlight to sleep in either.

Maybe I should crank up the AC so they can remember what "cold" is like. :P

80. Very cute!
Abby does look quite a bit like Spencer, though I think she's more orange.

Adorable babies, though. :)

92. Mother's little Helpers

Millie has recently discovered the on-screen curser. She sits and chatters at it as she would a bird. But right now they are both playing paper weight.
