Well, my computer problem was just the power supply!
I had the problem of the computer shutting off (not Windows shutting off, but the computer shutting off) after beinbg on for a few minutes.

I finally got around to replacing the power supply today, and it's been on for hours!

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

I'm so happy, because it's the computer connected to the printer at home, and the one that has all the music on it and lots of other valuable stuff and the CDRW...

4. D.oh..
... I evidently confused you with another poster whose computer fried a few days ago.

But, keeping you puzzled is its own reward :)

6. Power supplies, RAM or a clogged CPU or video fan, amazing how often
those things will bring down a computer.
