My Summer Love/Addiction: Richard Sharpe
Yes, I know, I've become a BBC America addict, so sue me!

But these movies are so much fun... swoard fighting, and duels, and horseback riding, and a seven-barrel (!) shotgun!

Sean Bean is WAY better as Richard Sharpe than he was as Boromir in LOTR. Based on thebooks by Bernard Cornwall.

Oh, yeah, and one more reason: Since we share a last name, I consider him my fictional ancestor too. :D

Anybody else enjoying Sharpe?

3. I thought so
If you like movies for strictly entertainment values. There's really nothing deep and mysterious to it. It's got Nick Cage and Jon Voight in it too. Jon Voight did great. Good rental for this weekend.

8. That's one that has been on my
periphery for a while, Ronin. I'll have to add it to my list.
