3. Josh Beckett of the Red Sox

had nipple rings when we was with the Marlins until Bud Selig made him take them out for games. I think that's funny more than cool, but it's pretty out there for a pro athlete...many(I've heard most) US pro athletes are conservative, a lot are really religious too. I have no idea why. You'd think that athletes would be no more likely to be Christian or Republican than the rest of the general population, but they are for some reason.
