1. Another good quote, Aristus!
It's so true. Not of *all* Republicans, but the great majority of them. They can only seem to blindly tow the disasterous party line and offer up "solutions" in Congress that play off of people's fear and distrust while not really adressing any of the real causes of the problems. That elephant should be yellow, not red and blue.

5. A yellow elephant. That's good. I wish I had thought to look for one
on Google Images. The GOP logo is a defilement of the good old red-white-and-blue, but what other way would there be for people to identify the elephant as the repuke symbol?

Good to see you, as always, Lareina. :hi:

6. The attribution for this one seemed to go on forever.
You run into that when quoting from the Henry plays. Henry IV was written in two parts, and Henry VI was written in three! So you end up with something like this: Henry the Nothingth Part IX, Act XVII, Scene 93, Line 1000, Syllable 3, Grunt 1, Facial Tic 8, etc. etc.

:hi: CalPeg!
