I just finished watching tonight's Daily Show...
and the guest was Thomas Kean, now I know he comes from a long line of NJ politicians so I know he grew up around here, yet for the life of me, I've never met another person from NJ that has an accent quite like that and I've lived here my entire life. It's just always been one of those things that have boggled my mind.

1. I said that exact same thing.
I don't know the guy very well, but I was half-listening the the interview. About halfway in, I looked up at my dad and said "Is it just me, or does that guy have a bizarre Jersey accent?"

2. I'm too young to remember him as governor but...
I've seen him speak here and there for years and it just baffles me
