11. I accidentally watered my face today.

12. The last time I did that it involve trying to give Ginsberg a shower.

I dropped the hose and it shot straight up in my face. We also learned that, while he's not good at getting a bath when he comes home muddy, he doesn't connect me with the shower. My method is just to drop him under the water repeatedly as he's too big, fast and squirmy to really bathe him. He'll then jump out of the tub and hide behind me for protection. Naturally, I pick him up and drop him into the shower again. Rinse. Repeat. The most pathetic is when he stretches out and tries holding onto the doorknob, while letting out his yowl that he got from his Siamese dad.

14. My brother's cat literally yells, "HAAALLP!" when they try to wash

her.

I have never tried to wash Merlin. At 28 pounds, there's not much I try to force him to do. :D

I accidentally set the sprinkler off while I was moving it. Blasted with a jet of water in the face and eyes. I couldn't see straight for about 5 minutes. The neighbors were entertained.

15. The German Shepherd we had was such a baby about getting a bath

that a neighbor with a house a few hundred yards behind us came running over one day. Cheyenne was screaming so loud that she thought the dog broke her leg on the tie-out and we weren't home (which we would never have done). She just started cracking up laughing when she saw it was our big mean dog sitting in the driveway getting a bath.

19. At one time I was the only person in this county

crazy enough to bathe a cat. In other words, I was the only cat groomer here. The worst part was that it was really a dog grooming salon, so the dogs were constantly barking. A good trick is to take them to unfamiliar surroundings to wash them. The cats were scared at first, but a few of my regulars started actually showing my affection after a while. I miss them.
