WTF File: Free Republic 10th Anniversary Rally
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1685026/posts

Wow. Ten years of Free Republic. Who knew they could count that high? Or resist upgrading their circa 1996 web design?

FR is a sad, scary place. But let's give them a hearty "happy birthday, dumbfucks" for all the laughs.

After all, when the moon is full, they send one of their own to be sacrificed here on DU. :) That's always fun. Or not.

:P

1. DUers are so much hotter than Freepers.
Although, I do kind of find the car cool.

2. The interior is probably crap though
and I'd be suprised if it even runs.

3. Can anyone tell what the car is?
Camaro, maybe?

Too bad they crapped it up with the junior-high paint job. Yeesh.

10. Mr. LD thinks its a Ford Motor Co. product, either
Mercury Montego, a Ford Torino, or a Mercury Cougar, or a Ford Elite. Late 70's vintage. Mr. LD is pretty good with cars, and if there were more of it showing in the picture, he could definitely pin it down.

11. I could see it being a Cougar...
The size is about right. I thought Camaro since it seems rather small.

12. The car is Jim Robinson's new patriotic batmobile. That's the creep .....

Himself in the wheelchair. It's a Camaro
with a cheap ass Nascar paintjob.

13. Hence, it gives new relevance to "bitchin' Camaro"...
How sad to see a Camaro end up like that.

18. Hey! 20+ is the largest number of Freepers ever to attend a rally.

5. Damn, what a rag tag bunch in that picture.
A few of them look like they have valid reasons, but I see a couple of them standing. My question: why aren't they in Iraq?

6. it's an increidibly sad, sad place
they don't see how their sheer ignorance and resistence to change reminds us of how they would like every voter in America to behave in the same way

15. Look at all the diversity!

LOL...reminds me of the country bar in The Blues Brothers:

"What kind of music do you play here?"

"We play both types: country and western."

16. And if you want to see what FR looked like way back in 96,
just go there now and click on any thread, anywhere.

It hasn't changed.

We pay Skinner, ELAD, and EarlG, and they give us constant changes and run one of the most logically laid-out discussion forums I have ever seen.

Meanwhile, what does RimJob do with his money? He takes it, and hires his son to "update" FR.

Look at FR ten years ago, and DU six, four, even TWO years ago!

19. Talk about fiscal responsibility. . .
:sarcasm:

But Democrats believe in getting their money's worth. Freepers are dumbass blind followers.

They honestly believe that this entire site is funded directly by huge political co-conspirators.

Maybe the great layout is why Freepers are lured here.
