I hate getting my hair cut too, and it's even worse when the outcome is worse than I feared.

11. People suck like that.
I did the same thing you did when I was about 21. This guy at work who CONSTANTLY hit on me literally said "the death of beauty" as he shook his head looking at me when I got a bad short cut.

It will grow back and you will FEEL beautiful again (I'm sure you ARE, but may not feel that way now)... but ugly people with ugly hearts will always be ugly people with ugly hearts.

and then we streaked each other's hair. The next morning I woke up with white streaks that turned orange in my normally brownish-red hair. Believe me, I didn't want to go to work, and the baseball cap I wore added to everyone's amusement & curiosity.

But I think what YOU can do is find a pair of long, dangly earrings and huge black sunglasses (like Jackie O or Yoko Ono) and then sail around on your new image. You have one now, & it's hard to catch up with it especially since you're comfortable with who you are already.

I say have a little fun, and sort of poke the image a little. Really. Act as though you wanted nothing more than this CHANGE. If that doesn't work, I'll shave my own head!

and when I got it, it didn't work and the seller is a little dooshbag who is taking her time refunding my money. I've had a bad week. My cat got into a fight with a bear last night and I couldn't get back to sleep after breaking it up.

25. Your hair may be in shock too.
It may need to adjust to being it's new length.

Rubber Rage is one of my favorite styling products for short hair.

I don't really know how short your's is though. You can really piece it and put it in place with this stuff. It doesn't make it stiff like a mousse or gel and it's easier to use than a wax or paste. It gives it great shine and controls frizz too. Yet it is touchable and still feels like hair with this stuff in it. Start with a little and add more as need until you know how much to use.

I'm sorry you don't like it but maybe you can find a way to style it that makes it bearable enough that you won't kill yourself.

36. I'm not sure.
I know it is a professional product but sometime those product show up in Wal-Mart too. If your Wal-Mart has a salon in it, then I think they would carry it. If you have a salon near you they may have it.

Otherwise look on-line.

It's that you just are not used to seeing yourself with short hair. In a couple of weeks, you might love the new look. The trick to short hair is eye make up and the right ear rings.;-)

But I'll bet you can still do it.

Did it look that way when the stylist was done and now you're having a hard time recreating it?

44. I used to have
that second last one.

I LOVED it that short, but it just got too expensive to keep on going to the hairdressers every few weeks. Once it grew out a few inches, it didn't look good on me anymore. I needed it that short.
