15. I liked "Ishtar" What's wrong w/ me?
It wasn't bad. I think critics had all these extraordinary expectations of a Warren Beatty/Dustin Hoffman movie, found out it was a plain-ordinary movie instead of an extra-ordinary one, and destroyed the film before it ever came out.

Or maybe it just sucked.

5. Wet Hot American Summer

& if you like your humour in a darker hue, I can't recommend Sarah Silverman's Jesus is Magic highly enough -- it's basically a concert film, but one of the best in recent memory.

10. I thought it was really funny.
It was your typical love story...boy meets girl, blah blah....but good performances all around. Made me feel good. It was a sweet movie. Mindless fun.

You should see it. :hi:

19. "The Search for One-Eyed Jimmy"
A little-known, quirky movie that had me laughing my butt off. "Kiss Me Guido" is another comedy I loved. Another is "Night On Earth," a Jim Jarmulsch (sp) film that has a segment with Roberto Begnini that caused me to have tears running down my face from laughing so hard every time I've seen it.

21. Local Hero, Waking Ned Devine, The Full Monty, and....
any comedy with Alec Guinness -- Kind Hearts and Coronets, The Man in the White Suit, The Lady Killers (the *original*, not the unfunny remake with Tom Hanks).

Seems like the Brits have always had the upper hand when it comes to comedy.
