1. Hell no.
Have highlighting done by a talented pro. It's so worth the extra money when it looks natural and not like somebody painted stripes on your head.

I am a professional and I have to warn you that it is very hard to do your own foil. The most difficult thing to do to your hair.

A lot can go wrong. There are many possible mistakes.

Go to a pro. So much can go wrong if you do it yourself. I have mine done every three months by a very talented technician. It looks very natural.

14. It looks like this:


Each little foil packet contains small pieces of hair that you want dyed a different color from the rest of your hair.
When I get mine done, I feel like I could pick up signals from outerspace! LOL
