2. I don't drink it, but I do put it in my toilets.
It helps dissolve the calcium ring that most toilet bowl cleaners cannot.

4. It's the citric acid.
Any old thing would do, but Tang is good, since it's in powder form, and wouldn't be as easily diluted.
