When Does Duck Season Start?

I'm ready. My trusty shotgun is cleaned and oiled. My dekes are ready to float, and my faithful lab is eagerly waiting to hit the water on a retreive.
Now normally, I like my ducks nice and plump. But this year, I'm gonna keep an eye open for one particular scrawny little greenhead dressed up like a journalist. And if I see him coming in.....well lets say I'm no 'Deadeye Dickhead'! I'm gonna hit that ugly little flying feathered turd with a full spread of 3-inch #2 magnum. And then I'll pump a fresh load into the chamber and shoot that little fucker one more time on his way down just for the hell of it.
And on the way back home, I'll stop on a deserted stretch of gravel and toss his stinkin' carcass into the ditch for the skunks and racoons to chew on - if they can handle the taste that is.
I'm ready. When does duck season open?
