Just heard Rob Corddry say he's leaving The Daily Show.
This is probably old news, but I didn't know till now.

Wikipedia says he's leaving to star in a sitcom on Fox, that will probably be a midseason replacement.

Good for him, but I'm a little bit bummed.

3. I didn't know
but in last night's show, when he was doing his imitation of a UN Peacekeeper (OMG was that funny or what?), I got this vibe, and I wondered if he was resentful of Colbert having gone on to his own show, and if he'd try to do the same.

So. Not surprised. Not happy, though. These guys, as brilliant as they are, belong on The Daily Show with Jon.

4. i didn't know either ...
It's too bad; he does some really good reports. There's been quite a turnover in the last year or so, it seems.

5. He, Colbert and Helms were the only good things on TDS.
Can't stand Jon Stewart. I don't find him funny in the least.

8. Well, that's a bummer.
Rob will probably fade into the stardust that covers the Hollywood Walk of fame, never to be seen again.

Anybody remember the fascinating career that Billy Mumy had after he left "Lost In Space"?

I rest my case.

12. Maybe he's competing with his little brother to see who can make
it to the "big time" first.

I see his bro, Nathan, will be on the new Sorkin series on NBC this fall.
