Potassium Nitrate legality?
Hey I was wondering if anyone knew what the possesion laws of potassium nitrate are. I've seen you can get several pounds of it pretty cheap on eBay, but that doesn't mean much. I've heard you aren't allowed to possess anymore than 1lb at a time, but I didn't see any proof of that statement.

For the record, I'm not planning on blowing up police stations or anything (although, it would be a good thing to have in a SHTF scenario), I've actually wanted to get some to experiment with fuses and some minor pyrotechnic kind of things. Also for the record, I understand that it's dangerous and needs to be handled carefully.

The real reason for this post is I don't want to screw around with it if I'll be arrested for possessing explosives and conspiracy to commit treason. That would just ruin your day :(
