37. I had to do all the gardening because of it...
Poison Ivy would sometimes grow in the yard, and I was in charge of pulling it out of course.

40. A tip, if you will...
Use Vinegar or some other oil solvent(safe oil solvent), to clean it, otherwise it may spread and get worse. Also, DON'T scratch it!

I've treated it plenty of times, it helps that I can't get it, it can spread from person to person from the oils left on skin.

44. It stinks, but Vinegar is pretty good for a lot of things...
Hell, I just cleaned the drainage pipes in the house with some vinegar and baking soda.

45. The worst case I ever saw was from a friend...
His dog brushed up against some poison ivy, then he petted his dog, then he rubbed his eyes without knowing the oils were on the dog's fur. He spent two days in the hospital, practically blind from the swelling, and had to have a steroid shot in the butt to reduce the swelling. This was a guy who was 6'5" tall and built like a wrestler.

Well... I think when I was little I had it in my eye, or very near it. I can't imagine that... I'd go completely nuts. :scared:

47. Actually he made me feel guilty because of it...
well, sort of. He called off of work for a few days, then he comes back in one day, first day I saw him since he got it, I didn't know about the poison ivy at the time, and all I said when I saw him is, "Did you lose a fight?". Let me just say that he looked like someone gave him two black eyes.
