Anyone buy a tricycle for a preschooler?
Our son is turning 3 in September and it's tricycle time! The local bike shop recommends the Trek Trikester:

since it's adjustable and our little guy is 40.5" tall, about the size of a 4.5 year old.

Does anyone know anything about the Trikester or its competitors?

1. My son is also turning 3 in Sept. (the 5th)
For his 2nd BD, I got a little anxious and bought a really cool trike for him. He can almost reach the pedals now even though he is also tall(should've made that purchase in person not online).
Ended up going to the local toy store and also getting him a small Radio Flyer, that he has ridden every day since. Of course he still doesn't use the pedals on that one either (Flintstone-style).
Can't vouch for any trikes in particular, but that one you show looks really sweet.
