Ok folks, computer/webcam/XP compatibility issue...HELP!
Alright Mrs S wants to hook up the old webcam, an eVision 123. When it comes time to install on this computer, running XP, it says that it's not compatible and it could hurt the computer...I'm assuming it's a driver issue. I found a driver for XP, which is an .rar file...

What do I need to do? Help!! :banghead:

1. .rar is just a type of file compression like .zip
If the decompression software you normally use doesn't work for it, then try WinRAR or some other .rar decompression software. After it's decompressed, install as usual.

2. Some of the compatibility notices are bogus
If the message says the device driver hasn't been tested, ignore it.
