3. Isn't she?
And she is a joy -- some "feral" cat! Harrumph.

Mrs. V. says come on up from TN and Sprout is yours! (We won't be going home until October -- Mrs. V.'s first great-nephew's birth!)

6. WOW!
Would I ever love to do that! I wonder how long a drive that would be? Not like we NEED another kitty.

15. When we go to Clinton, TN (Mrs. V.'s home), it takes 9-10 hours.
We usually split it in half with an overnight in Christiansburg (Fairfield Inn -- if you ever drive to the DC area and want to split your drive, that's a very nice m/hotel. Just don't go when the Virginia Tech Hokies football team is in town!).

7. I wish!
But we're getting a puppy to go with the 3 cats we already have around that time. If I did though, AM might have a fight on her hands for Sprout!

5. Mama Smudge is so beautiful!
And the kitties are cute beyond belief!! Ack!

Are they very mobile, or still in the sleeping/scooting/eating phase? I have no idea how old our girl kitties were when MommaKitty brought them to us - I'm guessing, from your pictures, not that much older than your babes Sprout and Sweetie Pete (and the rest of 'em)...

So is Mama Smudge relaxed around you now? Was she totally feral, or semi, or ? I can't remember what you've said, though I know you needed to trap her. She looks like she trusts you completely.

12. Still sleeping/scooting/eating -- but they are playing with each other!
Two and a half weeks now. Their eyes are open, but I don't think they see much. Their ears are beginning to unfold, and their faces are just starting to take shape.

Mama Smudge is quite relaxed. She was feral but she has become quite tame. She hisses sometimes when we enter the room, but she always relaxes and allows us to pet her. We're fortunate and grateful.

Today for the first time I have left the bedroom door open, to try to get her acclimated to the fact that she is in a larger space with other cats. Richard, Cocoa, and Daddy decided to go in and explore: she kicked all their asses, loud, hard and proud. Fur flew, and then the cats did -- OUT of the room. She is a very good mom!

16. Awwwwww, that reminds me of when my Sunday Girl
was 2 weeks old. Aren't they clumsy and adorable at that age? I love kittens. I have sucker written on my forehead in cat language. They know it too. Thanks for posting the picture. Your Momma Smudge looks adorable too.
