Once when my In-Laws were visiting us, my MIL came into our bedroom and took a picture of my husband and I in bed, sleeping, at about 7 am. Only because I am incredibly merciful and *snort* forgiving, does she still have all her limbs and intact eyeballs.

My friend, Cam Kerry (John's brother) and me on the campaign trail.


We would drive in buses from Los Angeles to the red state of Nevada almost every weekend, volunteering for the Kerry Campaign. It was exhausting. We did this for months. Clark County, the county we were responsible for, was blue. It wasn't easy, let me tell you!
