Or "American Idol" as a whole?

not my cup of tea, but to each their own, I'm sure there are a lot of people out there who don't give a damn about my tv viewing habits...likes sports, smallville, CSI...i'm sure there are some people how dislike those shows.

but only when it gets to like the final 12 or so. Then it's highly enjoyable, imo.

It's kids after their dream. What's better than that?

I know, I know, the show is sooooo overhyped and the hosts are all fools but the basic premise of the show......

that an average person can win a recording contact....finding talent from all across the country.....making dreams come true....

is a good one, imo.

I don't happen to be one of them though. It's just entertainment and they are no worse than 100s of other so-called singers I have seen in my life. I lived through disco, so I know what crap is. I don't mind it these days, but when I was a kid I thought it was horrible. As you get older you realize there is room for everyone out there and shows like American Idol don't really bother you as much.
