"From Hell"... yet another brilliant Depp movie.

Inspired by our trip to London last week, and we did a http://www.walks.com/ Jack the Ripper walk hosted by Peter.

Uh WOW! 3 of us did the walk, 3 adults and my 13 year old daughter. We then got lucky and found "From Hell" on dvd and it all just clicks after going on the walk, standing in Mitre Square, in front of 10 Bells and in front of the Church, hearing the specific and real details of the murders, one by one.

I sat on the bench that marks the spot of one of the deaths.

History... grim, gory, horrific.. unsolved, thrilling mystery.

I just LOVED it.

For anyone traveling to London, we also did the Soho pub walk and thoroughly enjoyed it, although it is far more tame than the Jack the Ripper walk.

the Jack The Ripper tour of London. Yes, From Hell is one of my faves too. Even if Brits grit their teeth with his accent.

Robby Coltrane is good too.
