One Year

It's been a year since I quit smoking.

It's hard to make it a year...my mom tries and tries but makes it 6 months at the longest, even after watching lung cancer kill both her parents, 2 mother-in-laws, a brother-in-law and her best friend.

That's the thing, I don't know where it went.

When I first quit, I noticed that I was accumulating change in my pockets like never before. I also noticed that I would always have a few bills in my pockets too.

When I was smoking, that money was always used to but a pack and it really felt strange having extra money in my pockets.

I didn't make use of a jar to see how much money I had at the end of the year of not smoking, but it would have been an interesting thing to do.
