Wanna hear my vacation at the shore story?

Okay,around two weeks ago I went surfing for the first time and on the first wave I tried to catch, I fell off and jammed my finger in the hard sand, dislocating the middle joint. I finished the surfing lesson which lasted another hour and a half, tugging on my finger between waves trying to straighten it out. After surfing, I played eighteen holes of golf with my brother-in-law. By the time we were having dinner, my finger was the size of a knackwurst and the family was saying things like, "Gee, Mike, maybe you should have taken your wedding ring off when you first jammed your finger." Ten o'clock that night I was in Henry's jewelers on the boardwalk having my ring cut off of my finger. The next day, I found a tick on my arm, pulled it off and as a result I'm now home sick as hell with Lyme disease. Did I learn anything? Nope. As soon as I feel better I'll be back at the beach for another surfing lesson.
