I watched Before Sunrise and Before Sunset back to back!

I saw "Sunrise" years ago but I had to watch them together so I could find out how it all ended for Jesse and Celine. Their lives in between meetings sounded so sad, but them finally getting together made me very happy. I was rooting for them the whole time after "Sunrise" that they would meet again and that the magic would be there. It was an awesome juxtaposition between the idealism of youth and the tempered hope of those a little older.
It showed this old cynic that romance is not dead, it's just been sleeping, at least for me.

1. I loved both of those movies too.

I did the back to back (well one on one night, the other the next) a few months ago and cried through them both all over again.

2. I've been on a Linklater jag lately.

I watched Waking Life . . . on weed!
It was very thought provoking. Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy were even in it, revisiting the concept of new souls. I loved it!
